WOW! What an effort, words cannot do justice in acknowledging the mighty effort put in by Club Members supporting the Gemkhana and in catering for the event. I would like to say thanks to all those people entering the competitions and congratulate those winning various awards; we will wait until results are published to acknowledge the recipients. Our club came in third the overall results behind Nunawading & Mildura. A great improvement on other years.

Congratulations to all those members who have been elected to committees & Office Bearing positions.  The duties can be both challenging & rewarding experiences.

The club is having an Open Day on July 13th from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Western Australian Visit. 2007

On the 25^th August Trish and I flew into Perth armed with heaps of film, a rock hammer and excellent advice from Des and Penny . The purpose of our trip was to explore the South West Quarter of Western Australia, from Perth we headed North to the Pinnacles back through New Norcia, South through Margaret River to Augusta, East to Albany, Esperance, then North to Norseman and Kalgoorlie and finally back to Perth  for a train trip ( you are allowed to carry double the luggage weight) back home.
