Our website is finally back Online and fully operational after our Web Hosting Provider experienced a major Server Failure. This has caused an extremely large number of Websites to be Offline including GemFossicking.com.au.

The winner of the Gemini International Cabochon Competition was June McKenzie of the Geelong Gem & Mineral club Inc. (Victoria) with a score of 97.50

GEELONG GEM CLUBS ANNUAL EXHIBITION

The Club is holding its Annual Exhibition at Centenary Hall, Cox Rd. Norlane (Melway Map Ref 432 A 10) on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th November, 10.00am to 5.00pm each day.  Admission is Adults $4.00, Children 12-16 $1, Children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult.                                                                           

The Geelong Gem & Mineral Club pages will be officially launched on Monday 20th August 2007.

Geelong Gem & Mineral Club (G.G.M.C) will be using GemFossicking.com.au as their Official Website, providing another way for its members to stay informed with the latest news, events and activities.

We are pleased to announce that GemFossicking.com.au will be the official Web Site for the "Geelong Gem & Mineral Club".

Geelong Gem & Mineral Club (GGMC) has decided to incorporate their club details, news and events into the GemFossicking website structure, taking advantage of an easy to use content management system to launch their presence on the internet.

The GGMC will have there own club pages including, a dedicated news section and access to all existing features that are presently available on the GemFossicking website.

The GGMC pages are currently being developed and will be launched soon.

Amateur Lapidary Competition 6 7 October

This competition will take place at the 2007 Coolgardie Gold & Gem Festival.

The competition is open to all forms of lapidary jewellery, carving, ornament, freestyle rock art with a first prize of $500 cash for overall best item.

Another prize of a Coolgardie blue/green tourmaline set in a gold pendant and valued at over $500, donated by Coolgardie Rocks, will be presented to the most original and innovative item.
